During the Spring 2026 semester, Interior Design students at UCA collaborated with architects Jennifer Herron and Jeff Horton of Herron | Horton Architects in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Centered on a gallery exhibition of Jeff Horton’s paintings, the project was shaped through months of ideation, process work, and hands-on making under the joint leadership of Herron and Horton. Students worked alongside faculty and the artists to translate artistic principles into spatial form—culminating in an intensive build week where concepts were realized through cutting, painting, and fabrication.

The resulting installation—defined by dynamic geometries and mobile sculptural panels—reflects a collective effort that bridges art and interior architecture through process, material, and collaboration.
